Double Union
This depends on one thing : if spirits are considered "allies".
If so you could put up two unions (arcane echo) and then everytime someone takes damage it is reduced by 30 (still hypothisising here) and the spirits would not take any damage because the other one would cover it.
Does this make sense/work? I would test but I'm about two days too late on this thought.

Casting a second Union spirit will kill the first spirit.

Just to clarify, casting a second spirit with the same name as a spirit already in its range will kill the first one.

If you cast one of the spirits JUST outside of the other one's range, wouldn't the 2 of them overlap in a few spots and that would become the -30? If that wouldn't work, then it would still work for twice as long, I suppose.

From what I understand, if the spirit's Area of influence intersects another spirit of the same name's area of influence, the oldest one dies.
Spirit spammers used to use overlapping spirits to make their Guild Lord a freaking immortal, so they had to do something to prevent people from using the spirits to do more than they were intended.

Even if you could somehow be in the radii of two Unions at once, you can't have two copies of the same buff on you, and spirits don't affect themselves or other spirits.

Something that bugs me that people don't seem to always notice is that summoning spirits is a RITUAL not a spell. You'd have to use the Elite echo on it, and as the others have mentioned, spirit spamming was prevented by the death of spirits so as to prevent too many of them cluttering up an area.

Anguished Was Linguah is perhaps the only notable exception. This spell allows you to summon multiple spirits of pain.

I have the feeling, that even though Pain is not very powerful... that will change.

That's interesting, but does this still work? Has anyone tested it out recently? Sorry to sound ignorant, but I suppose I am.
I have another point, but I think it's best for it's own thread.
